Brands You Should Know in 2024

2023 was the year of old trends coming back in fashion. Nostalgia ruled when the 90s and early 2000s fashion trends started appearing back in stores and on all of our favorite celebrities. This year isn’t much different. We’re seeing statement accessories like bows and large belts, fringe, “girl-core”, and preppy coming back into style this season. New trends are just one aspect of 2024 fashion, though. With trends constantly changing, it can be overwhelming trying to keep up with the trends. Today, we’re sharing all the brands you should know this year to stay on top of the fashion game.

Reformation

Every celebrity from Olivia Rodrigo, JLo, Rihanna, Megan Markle, and so many more has been in Reformation. Their daytime sultry dresses are feminine, and they manage to make long hemlines sexy. This LA-based company is a sustainable vintage boutique that has grown since its formation in 2009. The brand covers everything from the basics to wedding attire to accessories to put the cherry on top of any ensemble. Even with their casual options, Reformation puts femininity at the forefront. The silhouettes and cuts amplify your body’s characteristics — which is something we love at StyldLife since we believe in amplifying your natural beauty!

Abercrombie & Fitch

Now, we’re sure you know Abercrombie & Fitch already; they were a staple in every mall, but the brand has gone through a major rebranding. The brand has made the change from exclusive to inclusive. Under the new CEO Fran Horowitz, Abercrombie & Fitch began focusing on better quality and a more inclusive size range. Gone are the days of overly-branded clothing, and in are more sleek designs that fit an older clientele. The generation that grew up feeling ostracized by Abercrombie & Fitch and its preppy exclusive aesthetic is now shopping there for elevated office attire and night-out outfits.

Good American

We’re probably all surprised a brand partially founded by a Kardashian is on our list. Good American was founded by Khloé Kardashian and Emma Grede, who is a longtime partner of the Kardashians when it comes to building their clothing brands. The brand is all about body acceptance, with its products from sizes 00–32 Plus. “Your curves are our cause” is what Good American says on their website. While having all types of clothing, Good American specializes in jeans of all kinds. Regardless of the style, they have it, and not just that, they also feature a quiz to find the right style for you.

House of Harlow 1960

House of Harlow 1960 is another brand that celebrities love. Founded by Nicole Richie, it's no wonder House of Harlow screams cool LA girl aesthetic. As seen on their social media, it’s clear Nicole Richie is hands-on with her brand; she can be seen trying on dresses and jewelry from House of Harlow. The brand began focused on costume jewelry, but quickly expanded to accessories and select clothing inspired by vintage pieces. Their collection with Revolve features bright patterns and prints for everything from bathing suits, dresses, shirts, and two pieces.

 & Other Stories

& Other Stories is timeless with its classic silhouettes and must-haves for every season. “Curated serendipity” is how & Other Stories describe their clothes, and you can see it in their soft color palette and flowing designs. With stores around the world, & Other Stories is a global brand that collaborates with artists and small global designers to create personal fashion. While creating timeless fashion, the brand still manages to cover most trends, from ballet flats to an increase in leather.

We know keeping up with the most fashionable brands can be tough. What’s tougher is knowing which ones will work with your aesthetic or will fit your body shape the best. Our stylists know what brands are in and what brands you need to be shopping at. Book a session today to discover new brands and styles that you might be missing out on!
